Yesterday I did some couponing. CVS is my absolute favorite go to place for couponing, I seem to find my best deals there. This trip I saved $22.84, that’s a lot of money to me! When you shop at CVS it helps to have a few extrabucks on hand to help ease the cost of trying to accrue extrabuck earnings, which was one of the biggest reasons I went. On my shopping list was things my family and I needed, toothpaste, mouthwash, razors, girly stuff, dish liquid, paper towels. The whole household necessity deal.I got all that and more. If I hadn’t used my coupons and extrabucks my whole purchase would have been about $75. Not only did I save $22, but i also received money back (extrabucks)! $14.99 extrabucks was a huge reward! Those go on my next shopping hoopla! Which will be in the planning this week.
Couponing is time consuming yes, but it is worth it in the money you can save doing it. I also use couponing apps or money back apps. These apps are worth it as well, Checkout 51 is my favorite out of the ones I use. I used Ibotta as much as Checkout 51 last night. These apps you can earn money back on purchases of your grocery items. It helps a lot when milk, eggs, and bread are offered. I haven’t earned a load on these, but every penny helps. I also use an app called Shopkick, you earn rewards instead of cash back. The rewards are in the way of gift cards, so yeah they are still money rewards. With Shopkick you can earn kicks by walking into certain stores on certain days, earn rewards by scanning products in the stores, and by doing daily earning tasks on the app itself. If you would like to join shopkick use this link
If you would like to use Ibotta checkout this link
You can download Checkout 51 or use on your laptop or desktop, by going to Checkout 51.com. Of course you can get it on your Android or Apple device.
I hope this helps many people. I use these small strategies to save money daily, weekly and monthly. I have saved what I believe is a ton.
Looking for deals can be tough when shopping with others. Over the weekend I was trying to find the great deals that I knew were out there. But of course I wasn’t as prepared for my shopping trip like I normally am. I didn’t have my store ads in hand, I had extra coupons that were about to expire, and I had my kiddos with me. My kiddos love showing me different things throughout the store, and asking many, many questions. This weekends shopping trip was a little more bamboozled than I would have liked for it to be. Still I found a few pretty good deals. Couponing takes a little bit of time to get used to, but it pays off in the long run. I love when CVS has Dawn dish liquid on sale, I stock up for less than .75 per bottle I think it’s an amazing deal. Keep looking for those amazing deals, they are definitely out there. Check all ads, check all coupons, use shopping apps (IBOTTA, CHECKOUT51, SAVINGS STAR, WAL-MART SAVINGS CATCHER, SHOPKICK, JUST TO NAME A FEW) to help get cash back on items you buy on a daily or weekly basis.
